While I was waiting for my return flight back to St Louis, MO I took this photo at Midway Airport, South West Airlines Gate B14.
I captured how the clean architectural features of the window screens in my Japantown hotel room in San Francisco served to frame the windows of a building across the way.

Whenever I park my car in a unfamiliar parking garage I take a photo (using my iphone 3GS) of the parking section/spot so I’ll remember where I parked my car. This was the case when I parked my car in the St Louis Lambert International Parking Garage.
Storm clouds moving in provided a contrasting backdrop to the dome of City Hall of San Francisco, CA. The structure’s dome is the 5th largest in the world. This current building is a replacement of the former City Hall which was destroyed in the 1906 earthquake.
This photo illustrates that the “Bean,” Chicago’s nickname for Anish Kapoor’s Cloud Gate sculpture, does not do justice to the dynamic work’s dual function as art object and interpreter of Chicago’s beautiful skyline.
